What's next?

Back up and prepare your old device

  • Backup your data or transfer your data to your new phone.
  • Unlock and disable passwords and security features (for an Apple device you must also turn off the Find My iPhone)
  • Erase the data on your mobile or reset to its factory settings.
  • Remove SIM and memory cards and any accessories such as cases and earphones.

Android users: Remember to remove your google accounts from your devices

Return your old device

  • We’ll send you an email with instructions on how to return your phone
  • Return your phone within 7 days.
  • Print or take an electronic copy of the attached Australia Post eParcel label to your nearest Australia Post office.
  • You will be provided packaging to securely return your device.
  • Ensure you obtain a lodgement receipt for proof of return.

Note: you will not be charged for packaging and delivery costs.
