Terms and Conditions for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Trade-In Offer

(1) Complete the purchase, new activation or contract renewal of an eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device from March 8, 2019 to April 30, 2019 (the “Launch Period”); and (2) Trade in a device with a minimum $25 trade-in value or $0 trade in value depending on the participating carrier and retailer, Samsung Experience Stores or online at www.samsung.com (see “Redemption Chart”).

This offer is limited to one (1) trade-in device per eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device. In order for the trade-in device to be eligible for this offer, it can be any make, any model, any manufacturer and any condition provided that it: (i) is verifiable in accordance with its serial number, (ii) was purchased in Canada; (iii) has a minimum trade-in value of $25 value or $0 trade depending on participating carrier and retailer (“Redemption Chart”); and (iv) is owned by the customer.
The value of the trade-in device is determined by the participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer, or Samsung Experience Store, or through the use of a third-party tool conducted through www.galaxyupgrade.ca operated by Clover Wireless. This offer has no cash value. Any questions relating to the trade-in device must be addressed where the trade-in takes place. 2. Once the trade-in device has been traded in, it cannot be returned to the customer, even if the Samsung Galaxy S10 device has been returned by the customers for any reason including but not limited to buyer’s remorse. Samsung is not responsible for the trade-in device once it has been provided by the customer in connection with this offer.

I. Redemption process for purchases made in-store at Samsung Experience Stores:
The purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S10 device and the verification of the trade-in device will occur simultaneously at the point of purchase at a Samsung Experience Store. The process is as follows:
1. Purchase the eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device during the Launch Period.
2. Between March 8, 2019 and April 30, 2019, meet with a Samsung Experience Store representative to complete a physical assessment of your trade-in device, and complete the outright purchase, new activation or contract renewal of the eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device.
3. The credit and the assessed value of your trade-in device will be applied toward the purchase price of your Samsung Galaxy S10 device.
II. Redemption process for purchases made online on http://www.samsung.com/ca/:
For the purchase of an eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device made online at http://www.samsung.com/ca/, the verification of the trade-in device will be determined by Clover Wireless and a cheque for the value of the trade-in device will be mailed to the customer once the verification process is complete. The process is as follows:
1. Purchase an eligible Samsung GalaxyS10 device at http://www.samsung.com/ca/ during the Launch Period. The credit will be applied at the time of purchase.
2. Complete the trade-in tool in your online cart by registering and providing all requested information, including the IMEI of your trade-in device.
3. The trade-in tool will provide an estimated value for the trade-in device. The actual value of the trade-in device is determined by Clover Wireless once the trade-in device is received.
4. A prepaid waybill will be sent to your registered address.
5. Mail your trade-in device to the address listed on the waybill within thirty (30) days of your new Samsung Galaxy S10 device purchase and prior to May 31, 2019.
6. Once the trade-in device is received and assessed, you will be mailed a cheque for the value of your trade-in device via regular Canada Postal Service within six (6) to eight (8) weeks.

Samsung, Samsung Experience Stores, and authorized retailers and carriers reserve the right to claim back the applicable credit in the event that the customer fails to fulfill any of the Terms and Conditions of this offer, including but not limited to failure to bring, ship, mail or otherwise provide the trade-in device.
III. Redemption process for purchases made in–store at participating authorized Canadian carriers and retailers:
The purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S10 device and the verification of the trade-in device will occur simultaneously at the point of purchase at a participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer. The process is as follows:
1. Purchase an eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device at a participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer during the Launch Period.
2. Between March 8, 2019 and April 30, 2019, complete the outright purchase, new activation or contract renewal, and meet with a store representative to complete a physical in-store assessment of your trade-in device.
3. The credit is applied for purchase of Samsung Galaxy S10 plus the assessed value of your trade-in device will be applied toward your Samsung Galaxy S10 purchase.
IV. Redemption process for purchases made either in-store or online at participating authorized Canadian carriers and retailers that do not have the capability to assess the value of the trade-in device onsite.
For purchases of eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 devices made at a participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer that does not have capability to assess the value of the trade-in device onsite at their premises, the value of the trade-in device will be determined by Clover Wireless through www.galaxyupgrade.ca. The cheque for the value of the trade-in device and the credit will be mailed to the customer once the verification process is complete. The process is as follows:
1. Purchase an eligible Samsung Galaxy S10 device at a participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer during the Launch Period.
2. Completion of the associated outright purchase, new activation or contract renewal must occur by April 30, 2019 in accordance with the procedures of the participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer.
3. If the authorized Canadian carrier or retailer does not have the capability to assess the value of the trade-in device onsite, go to www.galaxyupgrade.ca (operated by Clover Wireless) to begin processing the value of the trade-in device. You must register the trade-in device and provide all requested information, including the IMEI number of your trade-in device and of your Samsung Galaxy S10 device, and upload proof of purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S10 device.
4. The trade-in tool will provide an estimated value for the trade-in device. The actual value of the trade-in device is determined by Clover Wireless once the trade-in device is received.
5. A prepaid waybill will be sent to your registered address.
6. Mail your trade-in device to the address listed on the waybill within thirty (30) days of your new Samsung Galaxy S10 device purchase and prior to May 31, 2019.
7. Once the trade-in device is received and assessed, you will be mailed a cheque for the value of your trade-in device and the credit via regular Canada Postal Service within six (6) to eight (8) weeks.
