STEP 1: Get a quote

Visit www.samsungupgrade.ca and complete the brief questionnaire to determine your trade-in value. To be eligible for the $150 credit, the trade-in value of your old device must be a minimum of $50.

Make sure to check the Additional $150 Credit option, after you complete the questionnaire, to ensure you have activated the promotion.



STEP 2: Complete the purchase of a Galaxy Note8, S8 or S8+


STEP 3: Provide details

Upon receiving your new device, return to www.samsungupgrade.ca and provide the required details, including the IMEI, Order (Invoice) Number and proof of purchase of your new device (found in your Shipping Notification email).



STEP 4: Mail your device

Print your pre-paid shipping label and trade-up voucher. Package your trade-in device and trade-up voucher in a small box or padded envelope. Tape the pre-paid shipping label to the outside of your package and ship within 30 days of the quote.



STEP 5: Get your money

The purchase of your new Samsung device and the condition of your trade-in device will be verified against your registration details. Once verified, you will be mailed a Check for your trade-in value and the additional $150 within 60 days.



Terms and Conditions for the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+/Note 8 Trade-In Promotion

Purchase any eligible Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ or Note8 device on http://www.samsung.com/ca/ during the offer period and, when you trade-in a select mobile device with a value of a minimum of $50, receive a combined trade-in credit of a minimum $200.

Eligible Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ or Note8 devices are as follows: S8 (SM-G950WZKAXAC, SM-G950WZVAXAC, MSRP $1034.99), S8+(SM-G955WZKAXAC, SM-G955WZVAXAC, MSRP $1114.99) and Note 8 (SM-N950WZKAXAC, SM-N950WZBAXAC, MSRP $1299.99).

Visit http://www.samsung.com/ca/ and purchase any of the eligible Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ or Note 8 devices mentioned above during the offer period. Then go to www.samsungupgrade.ca (operated by Clover Wireless, Samsung Canada’s trade-in partner) to complete the required form including details on the eligible Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ or Note8 device purchased on http://www.samsung.com/ca/ and the mobile device being traded-in. The original proof of purchase and IMEI of the S8, S8+ or Note 8 device will also need to be provided at the time of form completion.

The trade-in tool on the site will then provide an estimated value for the trade in device. The tool is an estimate only and what determines credit eligibility is the actual value of the device as determined by Clover. If the actual verified value for the traded-in mobile device is equal to or more than $50 as determined by Clover (see below for details), then an additional $150 will be added to the total value of the traded-in mobile device for a minimum combined credit of $200. If the value of the traded-in device is determined by Clover to be less than $50, then only the verified value or the traded-in device will be credited.

Clover will provide a shipping label with which to mail-in the traded-in mobile device to Clover to verify the value offered following completion of the form. Once Clover receives the traded-in mobile device, they will validate the condition of the traded-in mobile device (the traded-in mobile device must be verifiable in accordance with its serial number and must have been purchased in Canada). . Provided that the value of the traded-in mobile device as verified by Clover is equal to or greater than $50 and all the other conditions have been met as verified by Clover, the cheque for the total amount of the credit will be mailed to the customer within 60 days of completion by Clover of the verification process.

Note:

1. Customer is responsible for removing/backing-up all data and all device locks from the traded-in mobile device prior to shipment to Clover. Samsung Canada and/or Clover Wireless is not responsible for any loss and recovery of personal data.

2. Once the traded-in mobile device is received by Clover, it cannot be returned to the customer.

Following purchase, you must ship in the traded-in mobile device within 30 days of your new Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ or Note8 device purchase and prior to the postmark date of February 2, 2018 and meet the eligibility requirements set out in these terms.

Value of trade-in mobile device, if any, is determined using a third-party tool of Clover Wireless; trade-in value is final and non-negotiable. The cheque for the value of the traded-in mobile device will be mailed via regular Canada Postal Service within 60 days of completion by Clover of the verification process. Traded-in mobile device must be owned by customer in order to be eligible for the Samsung Trade In program.
