Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Screen Repair Promotion Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY

1. This Promotion only applies to the purchase of new (not second-hand) Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G & Galaxy Z fold 3 5G devices listed below (the “Samsung Product”), which are sold in the UK and the Republic of Ireland between 11th August 2021 and 26 August 2021 (“Promotion Period”)

This Promotion is only available to consumers and not, for the avoidance of doubt, to any company or organisation who has purchased for the purpose of resale.
3. Employees or agents of Samsung or any of its group companies or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this promotion are not eligible.
4. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

EXTENT OF PROMOTION

1. For a period of one year after purchase of the Samsung Product from a retailer in the Republic of Ireland within the Promotion Period, Samsung will provide one repair of the inside (foldable) screen of the Samsung Product, which will be at or below the special discounted price of 130 Euro for Galaxy Fold 3 5G repairs and 109 Euro for Galaxy Z flip 3 repairs for customers within the Republic of Ireland. (“Offer Price”). 

CLAIM PROCESS & DETAILS

1. In the event that you suffer screen damage to your Samsung Product within the Promotional Period, please contact the Samsung Support hotline on 0818 717100 (Ireland) or go to www.samsung.com/uk/support/uk/support/contact to make a request for a call back. When reporting the screen damage, please do as follows:
• Provide the product code and serial number.
• Have a proof of purchase to hand
• Provide a description of the damage suffered to your Samsung Product
• Comply with any reasonable instructions from Samsung or an Authorised Service Centre to allow you to receive the warranty service.
2. Once your details have been verified, Samsung Support will provide you with a list of participating Samsung Support Centres where you can take your Samsung Product to be repaired.
3. At your chosen Samsung Support Centre, please ensure that you do as follows:
• provide the date of purchase and identifying information for your device, such as the IMEI number; • • provide the name of the seller from whom it was purchased
• provide receipts or other proof of purchase sufficient to show that the Samsung Product qualifies for this Promotion.
4. Subject to following the terms and conditions of this Promotion, the price for the repair to your Samsung Product charged to you by the Samsung Support Centre shall be at or below the Offer Price.

TRANSFER OF SAMSUNG PRODUCT

If you sell or transfer the Samsung Product to another user, the Promotion is available to that user during the remainder of the one year period which commenced from your original purchase of the Samsung Product, but not for any further period. Original proof of purchase must be provided by the user who has acquired the Samsung Product from you.

EXCLUSIONS;

1. The Offer Price applies to repairs for damage from any cause other than defects covered by Samsung’s standard limited warranty, except damage Samsung determines to be due to abuse or misuse, including, but not limited to deliberate damage to the Samsung Product OR use for other than personal purposes as recommended by Samsung, such as use in a hazardous, commercial or industrial setting.
2. Samsung will only provide the Samsung Product screen repair in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Samsung is not responsible for paying any travel or delivery costs where the product is located outside the UK or Republic of Ireland.
3.After one repair has been made to the particular Samsung Product at or below the Offer Price, the Offer Price will not apply to any subsequent repairs to the same Samsung Product. The Offer Price will not apply to any other repairs or to repairs made by any providers other than those specified in the terms of this Promotion (i.e. repairs which are not made by a Samsung Support Centre). 
4.The Offer Price is not available for repairs requested by commercial service or repair providers or made to bulk quantities of devices.
5. Purchases of the Samsung Product from eBay and Amazon Marketplace are specifically excluded from this Promotion.

GENERAL TERMS OF PROMOTION

1. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle and resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with the validity, effect, interpretation and/or performance of these terms.
2. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claim(s) including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, and other relevant details of an entrant or claimant and/or the verification as to their qualifying purchase.
3. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms and conditions of this Promotion.
5. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion(s) offered by Samsung Electronics.
